Kershaw and the L.A. Dodgers @ the Improved Dodger Stadium

_DSC4351Clayton Kershaw is off to quite a start this year! I was fortunate to attend yesterday’s Dodgers game (where the Pirates got 2 hits against Greinke) and today’s (where the Pirates got 2 hits against Kershaw).

Dodger Stadium had a massive renovation over the winter. Most prominently, the outfield scoreboards no longer look like they are from 1962. The original frame is still there, but now the video screens have been replaced by 1080p HD LED screens. What a difference! Now standing room is allowed right behind the seats, the ushers seem more lenient on beach balls roaming through the stands, and Vin Scully is back for a 65th year as announcer. Yes, I said 65!
